ABOUT

My work explores themes of memory and folklore. The art of storytelling and folklore has always been central to my work. My work has  been inspired by childhood visits to rural Wales where my family originate from as well as a keen interest in history and archeological treasures. 

 

I studied Fine Art Painting at Winchester School of Art and later studied for a Masters in Set Design for Film and Television. 

 

I began my career as an assistant prop buyer for films and it was the frequent buying trips to find props that my love of flea market curio and antique jewellery was born. 

 

During a teaching career I took time to hone my skills, primarily printmaking , exhibit my work and continue exploring my passion for antique jewellery.
